Plaintiffs, husband and wife, brought an action in trespass against defendant to recover damages for injuries sustained by the wife when she was struck by a motorcycle operated by a policeman in the employ of defendant. The accident happened at 10:30 p. m., April 11, 1936, in Philadelphia, at the intersection of 11th Street, which runs north and south, and Mt.
