Opinion BORDEN, J. The dispositive issue of this appeal is whether the plaintiffs, a Connecticut municipality and *316its mayor, have standing to assert the various causes of action that they have alleged against the defendants, who are various firearms manufacturers, trade associations and retail sellers.1 The pl
